Every edit is thoroughly evaluated to keep the author’s voice and message intact while enhancing the reader experience.

Services Offered

Line Edit

A line edit is currently the most intensive edit currently offered by Bewitched Ink.

Line edits will look at:

  • overused words/phrases

  • overall pacing

  • informational redundancies

  • unclear action/confusing narrative

  • author’s intent vs what is conveyed

  • and much more.

Copyedit

A copyedit is much more technical in nature.

Copyedits will look at:

  • spelling

  • comma usage

  • overall grammar

  • consistency

  • and more.

Manuscript Evaluation

An evaluation is for all the authors who don’t know where to start!

Manuscript evaluations include:

  • comments, questions, and suggestions within the document, and

  • an editorial letter to assist in the next rounds of revisions.
