Line Edit

Line edits are the most intensive edit we offer at Bewitched Ink. This type of edit can help polish the authorial voice and enhance the piece’s message while taking many different aspects into account. Things like informational redundancies, consistency in tense, filtering, clarity and readability, and much more will be addressed.

Copyedit

People who have no intention of making content changes may be looking for a copyedit. This edit will focus on grammar, style consistency, punctuation, capitalization. We use The Chicago Manual of Style and the Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary, though other dictionaries can be used at the author’s request.

Manuscript Evaluation

For when you need the eyes of a professional on your work, a manuscript evaluation is the best first step. As a way to be cost effective, doing a self edit and a round of beta readers first is beneficial before starting any professional editing. Weeding out problems that can be addressed beforehand will make the editorial feedback more effective and give authors the best value from their evaluation.
